Trying my hand at an Arrancar. Tell me if there are any problems. I know the whole "You can share a rank but can't be in the same RP as your counterpart" deal for Open RP, but I like to be as original as I can with my character's ranks, so please fill me in if this rank is taken. Name Dagora Illyanavich Nickname(s) Dagora-sama by Shargrimh Simply “Dagora” by everyone else. Species / Class Arrancar, Tercera Espada Aspect of Death: Intoxication Gender: Male Age Roughly: in his 200’s Apparent Age: Dagora looks to be in his early 20’s. Age at Death 23 Appearance Dagora is a tall man standing at 6 foot 6 inches. He weighs roughly 250 pounds. He is broad shouldered and quite muscular. His Arrancar uniform is pretty standard, though he wears a sleeveless vest version of the top, leaving it open, exposing his muscular chest and proudly displaying the “3” tattooed on his chest. His hair is a dark blue and shoulder length. It completely covers the right half of his face up to the middle of the bridge of his nose, making others wonder how he can see. His Hollow mask, which looks like a knight’s helmet, covers the left side. There is a scar across the helmet’s eye, a remnant of a run in with a shinigami when Dagora was still a common Hollow. His Hollow Hole is through his throat., and he wears a gold chain around his neck. Apparent Personality True Personality Dagora has been described on more than one occasion as truly evil. He hates those he deems weak, and believe they should be killed on sight. He once commanded a Fraccion of over 100 Arrancar, but upon being stricken with boredom one day, killed all but one. That one, Shargrimh, was the only one he deemed “Strong” out of the 100, and he allowed to live. He does, however, allow a gray area in which he places those whi he claims “still haven’t reached their potential”, and with that group he allows some measure of mercy and will even aid them if they need it. He has some measure of honor, such as not fighting an injured opponent or aiding another comrade if they are outnumbered. He has an unnatural bloodlust and thirst for destruction. He has a habit of cackling to himself , regardless of what has been said, or if something has been said at all. He is a drinker, and spends most of his time consuming assorted alcohols and sleeping. He also tends to be a tad flirtatious around women, especially when he's been drinking, as trait left over from his time alive. ((If Aizen is in play)) However, despite his arrogance and "belief in being the strongest", Dagora is weary of Aizen and looks up to him in a mix of reverence and fear, knowing full well that despite his own strength, Aizen's was 10 times such. Personal Goal Skills Dagora can consume copious amount of alcohol, without succumbing to alcohol poisoning. Weapon(s) Zanpkauto: Cruzado del Viento (Crusader of the Wind) Release Command: Taladrar (Pierce, like a lance) His zanpakuto takes the form of a European broadsword with a hilt guard that extends in front of his knuckles whilst holding it, and has five spikes along the plate in front of his knuckles, much like brass knuckles. Items Gold chain – It mimics the one he received from his girlfriend when he was alive, and he wears it as a reminder of her as the “only person [he] ever regretted having killed.” Biography Dagora grew up in a run down area of a city, one that no longer exists During his childhood, he wasn’t anything near what he is now. He was as nice a guy as he could be, despite his horrid family life. His father was a gangster who participated in drug, alcohol and prostitute trafficking and was a heavy drug addict. His mother was a prostitute and a drunk. Dagora didn’t have many friends at school, and the few he did have called themselves such only out of fear. He eventually got a girlfriend, and she was the only person who kept Dagora happy in his life. But over the years, their relationship became more and more serious, and she became pregnant one day and eventually gave birth to a son. Dagora was unwilling to leave his son in an orphanage and tried to care for him without leaving school. His girlfriend left him shortly after, leaving Dagora crushed. But he still pressed on, until one day he came home from school to find his son dead. His mother, in a drunken rage, had bludgeoned him with a beer bottle to make him stop crying. Something in Dagora’s mind snapped that day. He was forced to bury his own son, whom he had not even named yet. He stopped going to school and spent his days in his room. He had turned to drinking and often raided his mother’s stash of liquor. He also developed an obsession with killing things, starting with small animals he found in the parks outside. It gradually got worse and worse until one day his parents got into an unusually fierce argument. It’s unknown what his motive was, be it anger or insanity, but Dagora quietly got up from the couch and left the room, returning with a knife. He plunged the knife into his father’s chest, and turned to his mother. He was cackling manically at this point. His mother frantically grabbed a small handgun from the drawer next to her but she was too late. Dagora put the blade between her eyes. Just as he did so, the gun went off into his throat. By the time the authorities arrived after a neighbor heard the shot, he was dead. Dagora laid their, his eyes closed until he realized he could still move. He got up to see a chain from his throat to the ground. He was still in his house. But it was completely empty He stood there and walked around within the distance the chain allowed him. Days passed, and Dagora grew angrier and angrier. One day, a piercing pain shot through him as the chain began eroding. The pain increased time and again until the whole thing was gone, leaving a hole in the middle of his throat. He screamed as a white material shot out from under his eyes and his mouth, creating a knight like mask over his left side face. After a few minutes his body was warped to the point where he was only vaguely human. He stood on both his legs, but growled like an animal, and his jaw had been altered with feral fangs and a barbed tongue. His body was covered with a white, armor-like material. He unleashed a feral scream that shook the building around him, and flew from the room like a bat out of hell. He smashed a moving car onto its side and into a building, and stopped, turning to the sky. “The hunger…IT’S UNBEARABLE!” he screamed, and rocketed down the street before stopping again in front of a stately apartment. He peered into the window and was filled with the urge to eat. His girlfriend in life was inside, with another man. Dagora was filled with rage and crashed through the wall. His original target was the man alone, but his hunger soon overcame him and he sunk his teeth into the girl, killing her and consuming her soul. Dagora’s murderous killing spree continued for hours until a shinigami finally arrived, but only succeeded in driving him away. His last victims were a man and a woman, and the shinigami who drove him off. His attack on that family wounded a little boy, killing him and marring his face with an awful scar similar to the one the shinigami gave him. Dagora’s feasting had already drastically increased his power, and he tore open a Garganta to Hueco Mundo. He stumbled upon a Hollow who was about to enjoy a meal of its comrade, but Dagora jumped onto him and consumed them both. after many years and many meals, he eventually evolved to the level of Adjuchas. He stumbled upon a fellow Adjuchas. By all rights Dagora should have eaten the weaker Adjuchas, but something stopped him. “You...Seem familiar....What is your name, Adjuchas?” he asked, his voice an almost mechanical rumble. The smaller adjuchas hesitated, flinching almost instinctively to run. But the same nostalgic feeling stopped him. “You...Won’t eat me?” he asked. “No...What is your name?” “I...Well, this isn’t really my name...I never had one. But I call myself Shargrimh...” “You...Don’t have a name?” Dagora muttered, before a thought came to mind. “Do you remember how you died, little adjuchas?” “Yes..Very vividly. I haven’t been dead for very long. The process of becoming as I am now and growing this powerful didn’t take but a few years. I was...,” Shargrimh stopped, hesitating “Beat to death. By a woman who was much larger than me...” Dagora’s eye widened, and something, possibly his last shred of humanity, clicked in his mind, and it told him this was his son. If his mouth wasn’t a permanent sneer, he would smirk. “Shargrimh...You seem strong. I am strong as well. Let us travel together. Let us grow stronger together.” he said, holding out his hand, which had long, claw like fingers. “...Yeah.” Shargrimh was a roughly human sized Adjuchas, whose appearance was that of some kind of sorcerer. His mask was a common skull type, but the eyes jutted out like goggles and the mouth was more flat than a grin. He floated as opposed to walked, and had broken chains hanging from his shoulders. He was puny compared to the massive Dagora, who stood at twenty feet of height, and resembled a knight of the Middle Ages. His body resembled a suit of armor and his mask was a knight’s helmet, with the exception of two huge horns jutting from the forehead and the murderous grin made up of huge, razor sharp teeth. He carried an air of command and power around him, one that made the smaller Shargrimh often gaze at him with reverence. The two traveled together and shared their meals. Shargrimh was content with Dagora’s company, though not knowing who he really was. After years of eating Hollows, Dagora became a Vasto Lorde. Shargrimh was amazed at his companion’s newfound power, though his frame had been reduced to that of Shargrimh’s. He now stood at six and a half feet of height, where Shargrimh stood at five feet and eight inches. They traveled through Hueco Mundo, consuming Hollows to avoid regression. They came upon the fortress of Las Noches, and entered it. They encountered an Arrancar who’s name has been long forgotten. He told the two of gaining even more power by removing their masks. Dagora, skeptical, had Shargrimh remove his to see. The smaller Hollow’s power soared upon removing it, and the excess energy was formed into a kodachi like blade. Dagora was instantly taken by this gesture of power. He quickly removed his mask, and became an Arrancar. His energy sealed into the form of a European longsword with the hilt of a katana, and a steel, brass knuckle style handguard on the edge. His newfound power by killing the Arrancar who welcomed them with a single blow. Over time, hundreds of Arrancar bowed to his might and followed him as Fraccion. However, upon becoming bored one day, challenged them all to a battle where the only two left standing were Dagora, and his son Shargrimh. Shargrimh had only just now been told he was Dagora’s son. He could hardly believe that the fate’s would have something that lucky happen to him. He wasn’t fully sure of it, but whether Dagora was his father or not, he greatly enjoyed his companionship for most of his life and stood by him. Some years passed until he made another trip to the material world, this time to destroy his home city. He laughed as he rained down bala and cero onto the city, only being stopped when captains of Gotei 13 intervened. He was preparing ot release his zanpakuto when his comrades in Las Noches used Negacion to bring him back, so he wouldn’t be killed. Dagora, as it stands today, resides in Las Noches as the Tercera (3rd) Espada. He spends most of his days sleeping, fighting and drinking. Abilities Expert combatant: While he was a Hollow, Dagora managed to rocket through the evolution chain because of his ability to take on enemies that by all means should have been able to crush him. His tenacity and love of fighting drove him to defeat a Vasto Lorde while he was still an Adjuchas (albeit almost being ready to turn into a Vasto himself at the time). This ability has not diminished by a whole lot, Immense Spiritual Power: Dagora, being the Tercera Espada, has monstrous amount of reiatsu, which shows itself as a blue, wind-like aura around him. Sonido: Dagora can use Sonido, like any Arrancar. It is the Hollow version of Shunpo. He can travel very fast with it, able to keep up easily with a captain level opponent. Hierro: Steel skin of the Arrancar that makes it very hard to cut them. Dagora’s is very strong, being the 3rd Espada. Garganta: He can use Garganta, a method used by Hollows to travel to and from Hueco Mundo. It tears open a portal filled with whirling energy that must be formed into a pathway. Bala: He can use bala, condensing reatsu and firing it like a bullet. He fires it from his fist. His bala are dark blue. Cero: A high powered energy blast that is slower than a bala but more powerful. Dagora fires it from his hand, and in his release form his right eye. While firing from his eye, Dagora is temporarily blinded until it has been fired. His cero is a dark blue. Gran Rey Cero: The Espada's version of the cero, which is said to be the strongest cero in existance. It cannot be used within the dome of Las Noches. Pesquisa: Dagora can use a Pesquisa merely by willing it. He can use it to determine a person’s level of power and track their reiatsu. Resurrection: Dagora can release his zanpakuto, Cruzado del Viento, with the command Taladrar. Because he is within the top four Espada, he is forbidden to release his zanpakuto within Las Noches. In Resurrection, Dagora’s top half of his body is covered with a knight like suit of armor. His mask now covers his whole face and he gains shoulder pads. He generates and lance and shield out of wind and can create powerful gusts of wind capable of cutting through things. Techniques Viento Cero (Zero Wind): A cero that travels through a funnel of wind. Although it takes immense concentration, it allows Dagora to steer the cero through the wind tunnel. If Dagora loses concentration, the cero will intersect with the wind rather than flowing with it, causing it to explode. Ultima Tormenta (Last Storm): Dagora, using himself as the power source, can surround both him and his opponent in a huge tornado made of wind-blades. This cyclone closes in on the enemy, cutting them from almost all directions, but heavily injures Dagora in the process, who must remain in the eye of the tornado to channel this attack. Fighting Style Dagora tends to fight with both hands on his blade, only taking one off to fire a Cero, which his does quite liberally. In his released form, his relies more on his ceros and balas than his lance, and tends to use his lance as a thrown weapon, being able to generate more in rapid succession so long as there is air. Fair do's. I'll read it properly later, but I had a question. Do you have an RP in mind for him, or was he just an exercise in character creation? |

Well, not really. If an RP comes up involving Arrancar/Espada I'll most likely use him. But at the moment I don't have an RP specifically in mind for him. However, if you'd prefer I have one, I'm sure I could drum something up at some point in the near future.
