Just to take a quick opinions poll as to which skin is your favourite. I will get around to fixing the two WIP skins soon enough, so I already have an idea of which one is best... Whilst we're here, some suggestions wouldn't go amiss to how each could be improved if at all. Yes Tort, I'm getting rid of the gifs on the WIPs

I'm not sure how you could improve it... Perhaps... you know we see SoiFon in the background of every other reply? Could you do the same for Yoruichi in the empty-background posts? |

Well I have the yuri back ground (I'm not too keen on the Ichigo/Hollow backgound). Asterik is colourful (but wild and I like it it's easy on my eyes)

Anon, I'm not entirely sure if that's possible. I'll look into it. I'd also like to remove the image bleeding into the signature part, I've seen it done on other forums successfully so I can't help but think I've messed up somehow. MK, if you like I can do some more work on Asterisk at some point in the near future, as opposed to the Espada skin. If it helps you out then I'd be well motivated to do it. Might even get into a bit of consultation with you to make it easy on the eyes, MK-style? And don't think I've forgotten your userbar, bucko  that's on the to-do list.

Confrontation's a damned good looking skin. I'd replace SoiFon Yoruichi with it but for one thing. The flashing Ulquiorra-eye puts me off. By the way, is it Ulquiorra for new posts and Grimmjow for old? EDIT: Ah, i see it is something like that. Yeah, very cool skin, but the flashing Ulquiorra eye and the shivering Grimmjow face put me off a bit. Despite the fact that the shivering Grimmjow face suits his psychotic nature, it's just hard to look at. Any chance of stopping the special effects for them?  I'd like to make a suggestion for the skin too... you know how we see SoiFon in every other post in the SoiFonxYoruichi skin? Could you manage to fit a pic of Ulquiorra vs Grimmjow in action in that same place? That'd be sweet. |

In my opinion, Confrontation is crap - but that's only because all it is so far is a background image, a banner, some flashy gifs and a background image in posts. The gifs will be being removed, and altered for something more subtle - at this point, I'm not sure. The gifs, yes Anon I'll move them. The background image in posts to an Ulq vs Grimm? That, I like the sound of. I was going to have it Ulq in posts, and Grimm in field entry areas such as Fast Reply but I like it, I like. |
