So I've got to thinking that I know some of yall a little bit but nothing in great detail. Just what I've picked up in topics that I've posted in and read about. And I personally would like if we could get off and get to know each other on a more intimate level. I mean we all spend parts of our time on this forum which doesn't have a great deal of members we should have a bit more intell on each other. I know I cant wait tell the main RP and I be appreciative if we knew each other a bit better by then. So what better than to have a post dedicated for this specific reason alone if not for the older members for the newer ones that still don't know that much. Sound good to yall? |

We could always encourage people to do this in the introduction thread, but it's a nice idea in any case. My name is anon, 5th squad lieutenant for the site (which means... i'm staff... and i can't remember what my jobs are supposed to be, but i'm doing work on the main RP at the moment). I'm a bit forgetful and love to RP. Hobbies: Drawing (though i haven't in a while), Writing, Working Out (though i haven't done in a while), Partying (though i haven't done in a while), Working Voluntarily In A Special Needs School (fantastic job, enjoying it immensely), and Manga and Anime of most descriptions. Fave Manga: Bleach, Dragonball (&Z), Death Note, Naruto. Fave Anime: All Studio Ghibli films, Afro Samurai, Ghost In The Shell, Bleach, Dragonball (to a degree). I'm also a big film person, and enjoy watching horror and sci-fi most of all, but am up for watching pretty much anything. Is that ok, Zenny? |

Quite indeed anon quite indeed. This is the way it should be at first just basic information then once it continues on for a bit the conversation should take a more natural and fluid feel to it. And as for as why I posted it here I want it to take and have the natural feel of a conversation and not so much as first getting acquainted with some one. I’m going by Zenith Von Oller for the purpose of the forum and RPing, my real name is Justin. I’ve been playing rpg’s for awhile now such as the FF series, star ocean and other games alike. In the last two years I’ve started playing the famous table top game of DND (3.5) that’s where I first got the name of Zenith made it for one of my psion characters. Likes: I to enjoy drawing/painting, writing, I absolutely love reading any and all kinds of books. Favorite type of work is hard physical labor such as carpentry, along with other demanding jobs that are rewarding. Collection: I’ve been working on my DVD box set collection. Have about 8 different box sets of anime that I’ve purchased in the last year and a half. First one was the box set of s-CRY-ed ill get more detail in the others later. Also been working on a book collection, but alas I’m only nearing a hundred books that I actually own. Manga: As for Manga just got into a little bit back ago but so far I’ve only have a collection for the series of Lament of the Lamb which I might say was freaking asome. And I started collecting the scryed manga. Movies: I just usually wait in tell there out and on the movie channels to watch them but I enjoy philosophical movies that are in intense like the butterfly effect, what dreams may come, requiem for a dream, eternal sunshine in the spotless mind, k-pax, a beautiful mind, dead awake, crash, and waking life. |

K-PAX was immense, as was A Beautiful Mind. I also liked Donnie Darko, Fight Club, and Sweeney Todd (there's no place like LONdon) I like intense films that make you think, but I also like those that worm into your mind and don't get out for a while. Funny Games U.S. was one of those, very freaky.100 books is impressive, Zenny. My own collection is growing steadily. One of my favourites of all time has to be 1984... though I do have many I love including I Dreamed Of Flying Last Night, the Gaunt's Ghost series, David Copperfield, Romeo and Juliet, Long Way Round and Thud (to name a few). |

RabidChoco here, one of the local Yankees. If it's speculative fiction (sci-fi or fantasy), chances are that I'm into it. I do some dirty work at one of the biggest tourist traps on the globe (literally)... and, as mentioned in other places, I'm noodling a crossover fanfic with Bleach and Jim Butcher's Dresden Files. |

ah yes anon Donnie Darko was another good one, fight club was really good the first time through and is rewatchable, havent seen Sweeney Todd been wanting to though. As for books I want a library of books enough to completly surround me and more. With the books I have now only fill a 5 foot by 4 foot book self. Only books I've had experinced with that you mentioned would have to be that of David Copperfield and Romeo and Juliet. I really enjoy alot of Russian literature from the 1800's such as Fyodor Dostoevsky with his Crime and Punisment, along with The Idiot. And RabidChoco I've seen that you've posted around but we haven't really ever heard from each other nice to see you around and in here though, question though where exactly would you be located other than a tourist trap? |

I ahve a Dostoevsky at home to read... can't remember which it is (Crime and Punishment?). I also have the Tolstoy War and Peace, which I'm looking forward to. Also have a Dumas, the Count of Monte Cristo, and several other Dickens, as well as a book by Michael Palin called Sahara. Today I just can't be arsed though, so I may begin reading them tomorrow. |

Great. Very enjoyable set of books. I'm crap at summaries but basically the main character's dad wants to wage war on God because he's a failure, and the whole set revolves around how his actions and the actions of his enemies affect the main character. I've read it a few times, which is a good sign that I think highly of it. Philip Pullman. That's the guy that wrote them. Also, anyone a fan of Isaac Asimov? |

I am ashamed to call myself a speculative fiction aficionado, and confess with the same breath that I have yet to peruse any of Asimov's works. Though I'll likely enjoy them given the time and opportunity to. Although, frankly, I'm at the core a contemporary fantasy fan. As mentioned before... Dresden Files, Jim Butcher. Great urban fantasy series, though some of the more recent books are getting a little... out there. Hardcore detective-style stories, with a wizard (Named, funnily enough, Harry) as the central character. Also a series where the non-magical folk aren't completely useless; the "badass" normals are badass because they know what they're dealing with, and have an idea on how to deal with it. (Here's looking at you, Karrin Murphy and John Marcone.) ...Too many wizards, even in contemporary fantasy, think only in terms of magical means. Dresden is the exception. |

I listen to a lot of music(have 998 tunes on my W980i at the last count) and it ranges from Metallica to Rob Dougan to hardcore to Beethoven to Tatu to Pink to... you get the idea. I'm very open-minded musically and in general, altho I dislike rap, RnB, and country & western. Some people come into the kitchen at work and find it odd that my music goes from Linkin Park into a Sonic trance remix into Katy Perry. They're narrow-minded and only listen to one type of music, lol. I have a massive computer game collection, which currently stand at... I dunno, 200+ last time I counted. Mostly older consoles like the Mega Drive and the N64 are my poison - especially Sega stuff. My roots lie in platforming, and I adore driving games. With a passion. I have a certain hedgehog tattooed on my arm and my leg, and got all his games(apart from the Wii ones). Even downloaded them on my 360, just for the lulz. Driving game wise, it all started with Road Rash 2, then moved onto Micro Machines, then Destruction Derby, Porsche Challenge, Formula One, and then the almighty Gran Turismo(before it was made of fail, naturally). Then it went onto TOCA, Colin McRae(RIP), GTA... anything with wheels in I've probably driven the nuts off. And of course, I can't forget Tekken(Tag Tournament is one of the better ones, and 5 is the best. 6 has an ace trailer...) and my favourite game of all time - Final Fantasy VII. Got that on my leg. Thinking of the leg again, I like tattoos. I've got 7 of them, gained in 2 sittings. On my arm I have the Sonic Team icon and the Heartless emblem from Kingdom Hearts, and had them done again on my leg along with the "LP" Linkin Park logo, the meteor from FFVII and Soi Fon's Hornet's Crest. A fair few people have recognised the Crest! ![]() I'd love to get more, but money is an issue. As always. My ultimate tattoo would probably be something I've drawn - and most likely a Metal Sonic holding a black butterfly in the palm of his hands. Probably in greyscale. I'll have to see how that pans out. Also got about 500, maybe 600+ DVDs of various genres. Adam Sandler, Nicolas Cage, Arnie, Disney, comic book remakes, I think the only things I am missing are foreign films and horror(bore the shit out of me, altho Evil Dead 2 was ace). My three favourite films of all time are The Crow, The Fast And The Furious, and Titan AE. the Crow, I could relate to. TF&TF was just an insane buzz and needed no brains to watch, and Titan AE? Not sure. Jut seems to work for me. And has one of the best CGI scenes ever - check out the ice rings near the end. Not seen anything like it before or since. Seriously. Altho looking at that collection there, I'm tempted to sneak one of them out and plop in Wall-E. That film was fucking amazing, and yes I did go awww at the obvious part. Poor little thing... Cars was fun, for obvious reasons ![]() I liekz teh carz. Zoom zoom. My three favourite sports cars back in 2000 were a Nissan Skyline R32, Dodge Viper RT-10 and Dodge Charger '69 or '70. Of the most recent cars that've come out since then, I'd have to plump for pretty much any Zonda, the McLaren Mercedes SLR and the Peugeot 407SW. Seriously - the estate version of that car is the fucking sex, even if it doesn't go as quick as a fast, expensive car. Favourite cars of all time now be the AE86, Any early, say 70's Challenger and the Volkwagen Polo Mk2. AE86 - goes sideways all the time. Challenger, same engine as a Charger but far lighter and I do prefer the smaller cars if I'm honest. And the Polo has a special place in my heart as I had one for my first proper car. I do however dislike any modern Ferrari after the 360 Modena, that's when it became all electronic this and flappy-paddle that... Long story short I like cars <3 Obviously I likes me anime, I'm in the middle of watching The Galaxy Railways and Wangan Midnight, need to catch up on chobit, and get more Gundam viewing under my belt. Preferably the original series with Char Aznable and the RX-78. Manga too - I read Bleach online, half-looking for an Initial D scan, and have the entire set(the pride and joy of my entire book collection) of Love Hina. I've also got a semi-decent comic book collection, and would like to introduce y'all to "Fuckface" some time ;D I'm a semi-decent writer, and write little things here and there. There's also this book I've been slowly working on since I was 16, so 10 years now. Got to change the pissing name of it, thanks Disney... I also draw in my randomness. It happens, albeit rarely. That's it. Hope you're happy

Hmmm, glad to see you make an appernce in here MoD and a nice good long post too. But I would like to say sorry for my short little absence but from time to time I like to get away from every thing and when I say everthing I mean it. Hardly converse with any one in any form just so I can set aside and think. This time it has been relativly short to I've probably been in one of these states for a good couple months at a time. Only occurs every now and then but when it does I take the heed and set time aside to do nothing and not talk basically. Don't really know why this happens but I guess I just like time to think and to have some time to my self. A good reason I like being in my hometown (which is where I've been for close to a month now) dont know alot of people here any more and spend most my time outside thinking. But enough with that unless any questions or comments about it of course. I would like to know main sources of entertainment. Books, T.V., Movies, Games which systems, web RP, Table top games, phone, kickin it up on the streets doin what ever comes your way,or what do you mainly do to keep yourself busy and find yourself doing the most? Myself it would probably have to be reading, DnD , and just kickin back and chillin with whomever.

I like to draw, but recently I've become very frustrated that I can't create original compositions with any degree of quality. I've been tempted to try painting for a while but never get round to it. The biggest time-consumers for me are reading and BH. Lately not so much, but I tend to have a lot of character and RP ideas that I write up in my spare time. Also I'm constantly thinking of ways to finish the main RP so we can get going: it's a little frustrating really because things are moving slowly at the moment, but we'll get there in the end ![]() I just finished reading Animal Farm (literally, five minutes ago) and I'm beginning to re-read 1984... which the first time round disturbed my sleep for days afterwards. I also enjoy watching films and anime a lot, but don't do it as much as the other two things. Favourites include Akira, Princess Mononoke (and the rest of Ghibli), Ninja Scroll, Ghost in the Shell, and a trinity titled Memories, which is cool. I absolutely hate to work. If I could, I'd spend all day reading and messing around, or travelling. |

My name and rank in society are to the left, so no need to discuss those. I pretty much have no outside-life. Most of my time is consumed by World of Warcraft (<3), watching my favorite anime and life's basic needs. Favorite anime includes Bleach (obviously) Code Geass, Death Note, and I'm just getting into Tales of the Abyss. As far as entertainment goes apart from WoW and anime, I have a nice collection of RTS games, such as most of the Stronghold series, Civ 3, and Empire Earth. I plan on rounding up the Warcraft RTS series in the future. I also like to draw, though I haven't doodled anything really presentable in a while. Music is also a big thing. I'm a complete metal-head, so my iPood is composed of almost entirely metal and rock. Bands such as Metallica, Iron Maiden, DragonFarce and Linkin Park are big ones. I do like a little rap/hip-hop, but not so much. I own a couple game systems. My GameCube (All my games fucking disappeared, no idea what that's about.) and my Wii. I have most of the good Wii games, like SSBB (No WhyFi though ) and LoZ: TP for example. I am missing a few though. I'm planning on buying an Ecksbawkz one of these days, along with a PS3.
QFT I also excel in sleeping, procrastinating, leeching off of others, and causing mischief. |

I've played Vampire: The Masquerade and Vampire: Requiem. Unfortunately I played with a couple of chumps. Same happened with Werewolf: The Apocalypse. I've also played 3.5 and found it immensely fun, at least while it lasted. I've done a lot of forum roleplaying too. I'm currently in a tournament on this one popular forum, trying to get through to the final 4. Currently though, any roleplay I do is loosely based on Eve - damn those religious bastard Amarrians, but at least they're not the French.. I mean Gallente!

I still don't see why people are so judgmental of things yes some things might be a bit strange or what ever you want to say but I think we've all done something and most likely have been discrete in the things we've done for the fear of harsh feed back or just insult for the reason of nothing else but its diffrent and not every one takes part in such activities. I mean whats the big deal with what we all do and what we enjoy. That thought may be to ideal though and something that we never my be able to achieve. |
